Stakeholder Communications Officer

Salary: £26,328 per annum

Tenure: permanent, full time

Location: Hybrid working – 2 days in the office each week (Westminster, SW1P 2AF)

Closing Date: 10th December at 9am  (this may be extended or shortened based on volume of applications)


We’re looking for a Stakeholder Communications Officer to help achieve our vision of London alive with nature, where everyone can experience and enjoy wildlife. No one day will be the same; from working on multi-level campaigns to designing digital and printed communications to share Trust activities. We’re looking for an efficient worker adept at managing multiple projects and most importantly multiple stakeholders’ needs.


Your responsibilities

Work alongside internal stakeholders to help them define their marketing and comms objectives, building strong relationships as you go.

Tell compelling stories about our work and its impact, increasing engagement and awareness and supporting income generation.

Support the development and delivery of London Wildlife Trust’s marketing and communication strategy, including digital and social, press and print media.

Job requirements

Our ideal Stakeholder Communications Officer

  • Experience working in a communications role in a complex organisation with multiple work streams
  • Ability to create simple design documents (adhering to brand guidelines) using Adobe InDesign
  • High standard of writing copy for various audiences, with experience in preparing marketing and promotional material for all media
  • Demonstrable experience of using social media channels (including social media scheduling platforms), creating content and responding to comments both positive and negative
  • Experience using CMS platforms to update and maintain complex websites
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a full workload with competing deadlines
